The CRC-S4500 represents the latest in design, technology and performance. The CRC-S4500 is a portable plug in 5-litre electric rice cooker with warming capability. The cooker base & lid construction is of stainless steel, with the rice bowl finished with a non-stick, easy clean ?Flon? coating. The cooker lid & base are both thermally insulated maintaining low external temperatures preventing any possible burns to the user. The cooker lid is gasket sealed to ensure steam is released through the pressure valve in the lid. This unique design operates in conjunction with twin ceramic elements to provide evenness of heating from the base of the pan to the top layer of rice, hence preventing rice burning in the pan bottom as well as drying out of the top layer of rice. Due to this unique design, which maintains the correct equilibrium of steam & moisture, the mass of the final cooked rice is greater than that of conventional rice cookers using the same quantity of raw rice.
Operation is simple with the touch of one button, while the keep warm feature automatically maintains rice temperature for up to 9 hours after the cooking cycle is complete.
